Data protection statement

Data protection declaration

Thank you for your interest in our company and our products. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. We only store your IP address for visits to our website. We only collect personal data when you contact us, e.g. by e-mail or telephone, e.g. when you order our products.

As a precaution, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

• The Basic Data Protection Regulation refers to Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which has been in force since 25 May 2018.
• As a rule, the statutory provisions on data protection serve to protect natural persons and not legal persons. If you wish to assert rights for a legal entity, please do not hesitate to contact us anyway.
• Please note that we are obliged to provide a comprehensive data protection statement that includes case constellations that in our case will never or very rarely be relevant.

2. acquisition of general data

You can visit our website anonymously. Your Internet browser transmits the following data to our web server as standard each time you access our website:

a) browser types and versions used
b) the operating system used by the accessing system
c) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website
d) the subwebsites which are accessed via an accessing system on our website
e) the date and time of access to our website
(f) an Internet Protocol (IP) address
g) the Internet service provider of the accessing system
h) other similar data and information used for security purposes in the event of attacks on our information technology systems

However, our web server stores this data separately from other data; it is not possible for us to assign this data to a specific person.


3. session Cookies

We use "session cookies". Cookies enable us to measure the frequency of page views and general navigation. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. We would like to point out that some of these cookies are transferred from our server to your terminal device, which are so-called "session cookies". 4. Contact us by email or phone

Personal data may also be collected if an interested party contacts us via the e-mail address or telephone or fax number stored on our website and voluntarily provides the corresponding data. We use the transmitted personal data without separate express consent in accordance with the provisions of European and German data protection law exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, pre-contractual measures or for fulfilling your request.


5. recipient of personal data


We do not pass on your personal data to third parties. A passing on takes place only with your explicit agreement or if we are legally obligated to the passing on. Only for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, namely the delivery of products, your personal data will be forwarded to the forwarding agent if this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. The freight forwarder is also obliged to use the customer's personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of European and German data protection law.

7. legal basis for the processing of personal data

For all contact inquiries by e-mail, telephone or fax which do not serve the fulfilment of a contract or concern pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) Basic Regulation on Data Protection serves as the legal basis. According to this, the processing of personal data is permissible if it serves the legitimate interests of our company, unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, which require the protection of personal data, prevail. Our legitimate interest in this case is to conduct our business for the benefit of all our employees and the owners of the company. The short-term storage of your IP address when you visit our website is also covered by this legal basis.
Art. 6 para. 1 letter b) Basic Regulation on Data Protection is the legal basis for the processing of personal data for the fulfilment of a contract, e.g. in the purchase of our products or in the implementation of pre-contractual measures, e.g. in case of interest in our products.
In rare exceptional cases, the legal basis for the processing of personal data may also be Article 6(1)(d) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation if the processing is necessary to protect your vital interests or other natural persons.
Furthermore, we may be required by law, e.g. tax laws, to process personal data. In this case, the legal basis for data processing is Article 6, paragraph 1, letter 1. c) Basic Data Protection Regulation.
Otherwise, we process personal data only on the basis of the consent of the data subject, then the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 letter a) Basic Data Protection Regulation.


8. Duration of data storage

We store your IP address only for the period of your visit to our website and other personal data for the period necessary for the performance of the contract, the implementation of pre-contractual measures or your request. The corresponding data is routinely deleted. As far as a legally prescribed duration of the data storage exists, we consider this of course.


9. rights of the data subject

a) Right to confirmation

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data relating to you. If a person concerned wishes to make use of this right of confirmation, he can contact us at any time.


b) Right to Information

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored and a copy of this information from us free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the following information:
• the processing purposes
• the categories of personal data to be processed
• the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or are still being disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations
• if possible, the planned duration for which the personal data will be stored or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determining this duration
• the existence of a right of rectification or deletion of personal data concerning him or of a restriction on processing by the controller or of a right of opposition to such processing
• the existence of a right of appeal to a supervisory authority
• if the personal data are not collected from the data subject: All available information about the origin of the data
• the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling in accordance with Art. 22 para. 1 and para. 4 of the Basic Data Protection Regulation and - at least in these cases - meaningful information on the logic involved and the scope and intended effects of such processing for the person concerned
You also have a right to know whether your personal data has been transferred to a third country or to an international organization. If this unlikely event occurs, you also have the right to obtain information on the appropriate guarantees in connection with the transmission.

(c) Right to correction

You have the right to request the immediate correction of incorrect personal data concerning you. You also have the right, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary declaration.

(d) right of cancellation ("right to be forgotten")

You have the right to demand that we delete your personal data immediately, provided that one of the following reasons applies and insofar as the processing is not necessary:
• The personal data have been collected or otherwise processed for such purposes for which they are no longer necessary.
• The data subject withdraws his/her consent on which the processing was based pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation or Article 9(2)(a) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation, and there is no other legal basis for the processing.
• The data subject objects to the processing in accordance with Article 21(1) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing in accordance with Article 21(2) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation.
• The personal data have been processed unlawfully.
• The deletion of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation under Union law or the law of the Member States to which the data controller is subject.
• The personal data was collected in relation to information society services offered in accordance with Art. 8 para. 1 of the Basic Data Protection Regulation.
If one of the above-mentioned reasons applies to you and you wish to have personal data stored by us deleted, you can contact us at any time. We will immediately check and process the request for deletion.
If your personal data has been made public by us and if our company, as data controller, is obliged to delete your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 para. 1 of the Basic Data Protection Regulation, our company shall take appropriate measures, including technical measures, taking into account the available technology and the implementation costs, to inform other data processors who process the published personal data, that you have requested the deletion of all links to this personal data or of copies or replications of this personal data from these other data processors, insofar as the processing is not necessary.


(e) Right to limitation of processing

You have the right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data if one of the following conditions is met:
The accuracy of the personal data is disputed by you for a period that enables us to verify the accuracy of the personal data.
The processing is unlawful, you refuse to delete the personal data and instead demand a restriction on the use of the personal data.
We no longer need the personal data for the purposes of processing, you need the data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
You have filed an objection against the processing and it is not yet clear whether the legitimate reasons of our company outweigh your legitimate reasons for the objection.
If the above conditions are met and you wish to have your personal data stored by us restricted, you can contact us at any time. We will then arrange for processing to be restricted.


(f) Right to data transferability

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to our company in a structured, current and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit this data to another person in charge without our interference, provided that the processing is based on the consent or on contract and the processing is carried out using automated procedures, provided that the processing is not necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority which has been transferred to us.
When exercising your right to data transferability, you have the right to have your personal data transferred directly by us to another person responsible, insofar as this is technically feasible and provided that the rights and freedoms of other persons are not affected by this.
You may contact us at any time to exercise your right to data transferability.


(g) Right of objection

You have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you, which takes place because it is necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority, which was transferred to us or because the processing of personal data concerning you takes place because the processing is necessary to protect our legitimate interests or a third party.
We will no longer process personal data in the event of an objection, unless we can prove compelling grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
If we process personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data for the purpose of such advertising. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is connected with such direct advertising. If the data subject objects to our processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process the personal data for these purposes.
You also have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes, for reasons arising from your particular situation, unless such processing is necessary to fulfil a task in the public interest.
To exercise your right of objection, you can contact us directly. They are free to exercise their right of objection in connection with the use of information society services, notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC, by means of automated procedures using technical specifications.


(h) Automated decisions in individual cases including profiling

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing - including profiling - which has legal effect against you or significantly affects you in a similar manner, provided that the decision

(1) is not necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and us, or
(2) is admissible by law of the Union or of the Member States to which we are subject and that law contains appropriate measures to safeguard your rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, or
(3) with your express consent.
Is the decision
(1) necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and us, or
(2) It is carried out with your express consent,
we shall take reasonable measures to safeguard your rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, including at least the right to obtain the intervention of a person by the person responsible, to state his own position and to challenge the decision.

10. Mandatory provision of personal data

We inform you that the provision of personal data may be required by law (e.g. by tax regulations) or may also result from contractual regulations (e.g. information on the contractual partner). To conclude a contract, it may be necessary for you to provide us with personal data which must subsequently be processed by us. For example, you are obliged to provide us with personal data if our company enters into a contract with you as a natural person. Failure to provide personal data would mean that the contract with you could not be concluded. Before you provide us with personal data, you can contact us. We will inform you on a case-by-case basis whether the provision of personal data is required by law, contract or contract, whether there is an obligation to provide the personal data and what consequences the failure to provide the personal data would have.
