Taste Strips 50

The Taste Test 50 is a validated examination method for determining the ability to taste. It is used when testing whole-mouth tasting ability by placing the Taste Strips on the tongue and closing the mouth (the tongue can be moved by the patient). If there is interest in the gustatory sensitivity of certain areas of the tongue (e.g. side-separated testing), the mouth remains open and the strip only comes into contact with this area until the patient can give an answer.

This taste test was developed for the clinic (ENT, neurology, psychiatry, internal medicine, etc.) as well as for the practising ENT doctor, neurologist or general practitioner.
